Futura Typeface Booklet
The goal of this project was to choose a typeface, and create a booklet tailored to designing the typography, graphics, and visualization based on that font family. I chose Futura, and decided to utilize the Bauhaus aesthetic, because of it's correlation to Paul Renner; the man who created the Futura font family. The imagery in the Futura book consists of geometric shapes, and the three primary colors as the color palette, while also solely using the Futura font throughout the booklet.
The Process
First it was vital to come up with a specific plan of what typography will be on each page of the booklet. As well as, listing the Futura font family, and starting to tailor a visual aesthetic that I could utilize for the booklet.
