Click N Dine
The Click N Dine app will be a tool restaurants can use as an easy, on the go way for potential customers to whip out their cellular device and reserve a specific table of their choosing; at a specific time, and be able to see availability of seating in a fast, efficient way. This is more efficient than constant direct calls to the restaurant that restrict employees from their work.
Goals of Service
For the user to have a fast and efficient way to reserve seating without the stress of calling the restaurant. For the user to easily see the seating availability, and full menu of the restaurant to see if it’s even worth making a reservation.To relieve stress of restaurant employees, by minimizing the amount of calls restaurant’s get, leaving more time for employees to keep doing their main duty’s.
Target Audience
The target audience can ultimately be any age, or gender. The Click N Dine service is for anyone who would need specific accommodations in regard to where they are seated in the restaurant. For instance, Papa joe, the former Veteran is now handicapped and has severe hearing issues, which means he would prefer to sit somewhere wheel chair accessible, and will not have to make a reservation over the phone where he may not be able to hear the hostess well.
Typographic Approach
The reason I chose to utilize Univers and Verdana typefaces for the Click N Dine application and website is because they are similarly, simplistic sans serif's, which works because the brand visualization is clear, organized and concise to correlate to the reason behind the entire concept of the service; making it easier for people to set restaurant reservations based on their needs and limitations.
