Objective: 
My task was to create an extension line of seven products, including one trio for the Boston Bruins. This included coming up with a brand name, brand story, specific target audience, a point of purchase display to shelve all seven products, and media incorporated in the P.O.P display to grab the viewers attention. The goal was to make the design of all seven products and the P.O.P display cohesive, but with slight variations. 
 
My Concept:
After a process of research, sketching, and ideating I came up with the brand name, "WICKED FRESH," which is an extension line of personal hygiene products for the Boston Bruins. These seven products I came up with are all heavily concentrated formulas, and are black ice scented. The goal was to create a series of products that are strong enough to mask the smell of a smelly hockey player after a game. 

For the P.O.P display, my goal was to create something that would live in the Boston Bruins shop at the TD Garden. I wanted the display and media to be intense like the Boston Bruins hockey team, and be able to catch Bruin's fans attention as they walk by.

Challenges Solutions and Successes:
The Biggest challenge I faced designing the seven products was keeping the word mark, product name, tag-lines, and overall design consistent throughout. My biggest challenge with my P.O.P display was dealing with Adobe dimension. The program kept slowing down, and it seemed impossible to put all the products on the shelves of the display.

Seeing all seven products together helped me see the inconsistencies, and once I was able to see this, I could make each product look more consistent. In regard to the Adobe Dimension crisis, I decided to render what I could, and fill the shelves of products on Adobe Photoshop, and it worked nicely. 

Overall, I was very successful with my design choices throughout, coming up with product ideas that are new and innovative for the Bruins Brand, and coming up with the brand story. I did a good job making all seven products, the P.O.P display, and the media SCREAM Boston Bruins.
WICKED FRESH Brand Story:
The Idea of this brand is that each of these products fight the toughest scents; they can even make a NHL Bruins player smell as if they had never played in a professional  hockey game. Theoretically, all the most famous Bruins players would swear by these product’s effectiveness. The products include: shampoo, conditioner, and an all in one shampoo and conditioner shaped like water bottles. Body wash bar soap shaped like a hockey puck that will remove all odors. A hand spray you use before and after you get off the ice to prevent or diminish any long lasting odor from your gloves. A fragrance for when you get off the ice to mask the smell. Finally, a loofah scrub to use the body wash with. ​​​​​​​
Audience:
These products are targeting specifically hockey players who are Bruins fans in the Boston area. This product is also made for men and women, yet because the Bruins professional hockey players are men, these products will be more formulated towards males. This product would be sold on-line at NHL.com, and in the TD Garden. As well as other hockey gear stores like: Pure hockey, TSR, pro shops, and more. 
Wicked Fresh Trio:
The Wicked Fresh Trio consists of the Black Ice Glide Shampoo, Black Ice Glide Conditioner, and the Black Ice Glide All In One. These black ice scented hair products are heavily concentrated formulas, and once the product is gone, you can simply wash the bottle, and use it as a reusable water bottle for your next hockey game!

Puck Soap:
The Wicked Fresh Puck Soap is a bar soap that is shaped like a hockey puck, and is black ice scented. It is also made with all natural charcoal for enhanced freshness. When you are done using the product, you can use the container to store a collectable hockey puck in.
Paw Spray:
The Wicked Fresh Paw Spray is a special, highly concentrated  formula that you spray before and/or after putting your hockey gloves on and it will prevent your hands from having that smelly, lingering hockey glove odor.
Black Ice Mist:
The Black Ice Mist is a black ice scented fragrance shaped like a hockey stick, and provides Bruin strength instant freshness after getting off the ice. Once the fragrance runs out you can keep the glass bottle it’s stored in as a nice collectable!
The Wicked Scrub:
The Wicked Scrub works hand in hand with the puck soap to ensure maximum freshness! The scrub is designed with an outline of a hockey rink, and is 100% scratch proof.
Point of Purchase Display:
This goal of this display is to scream, “Bruins!” The mix of the replica of the TD Garden Jumbotron, the bruins colors standing out from the display, and the products will immediately grab the attention of Bruins or hockey fans. The texture, and color of the shelving system holding the products is a broken glass texture to fit with the black ice scented products. By making the texture of the shelving look like black ice; this correlates well with the products having a black ice scent.
Environment:
This display would work really well in the TD Garden Bruins gift shop, or it could be displayed during Bruins games and events where all the concessions are above the rink at the TD Garden.

Jumbotron Media:
The element that is designed to catch the viewers attention is the replica of the TD Garden Jumbotron on top of the P.O.P display. This Jumbotron has 4 screens that will play the same motion graphic on each of them. The motion Graphic will highlight on each product, and resembles a different ice hockey play for each product to show that like the Bruins hockey team, these products work together to keep you, “Wicked Fresh.”
