The ultimate goal of this lyrical motion graphic was to set the right mood and tone to go along with the meaning of the song. I decided to make all my illustrations and the entire motion graphic black and white since the song is a little gloomy, but also metaphorically speaks about the moon.
The song Why iii Love the Moon by Phony Ppl is about someone who has lost love, or has been heart-broken, and explains how the moon is this stable entity that will consistently be there for you and will not let you down. It explains how somebody loves the moon for being there for them every night.
